WELCOME TO SEASON 2011!
I believe that the Club is in a position to progress through the divisions of the EFL over the next few years. We are financially stable and with the strong position of our junior club, have plenty of players progressing through to the senior club.
During the off season we have recruited players to supplement our list. These players and the return of players from injury, means we will have a strong senior list. Now is the time to get on the Heathmont Jets bandwagon and enjoy the success of the club.
Thanks to everyone who is on this year’s committee. There is a lot of hard work in front of us, but a lot of enjoyment and success if we get it right.
Our coaches this year are:
Seniors: Steve Buckle with assistant, Anthony Hickey
Reserves: Cameron Browne with assistant, Geoff Allen
Colts: Travis Green assistant, David Blake
Welcome to all the new players, members and families and especially to last year’s under 16’s who are now
a part of our colts.
My message to all at the club, if you want us to be successful then be a part of it. You can help out in many ways:
- Become a paid up member
- Help out on game days
- Run a fundraising function
- Support all the club functions

PLAYER SPONSORSHIP
Our aim is to have at least 40 of our players gain a Player Sponsor. If you or someone you know would like to sponsor a player let me know.
JUNIORS
We wish the President David Griffin, committee, coaches and all the teams, all the success in 2011. The senior club will assist the juniors in whatever way we can to help in their success. We are all one club and should support one another.
The juniors this year are fielding 11 teams, which are: Under 8’s, 9’s, 10’s, 11’s, 12’s, 13’s,14’s,15’s and16’s.
The club has secured funding for a new electronic scoreboard which should be in operation in the early part of the season. We have also applied for funding for new lights on the training ground and should know by the middle of the year whether the application has been successful.
