Accurate short passing was on display early, leading to numerous inside-50's, particularly via Brent English who seemed to have the ball on a string. Tackling intensity was high which led to the Jet's being on top in the turnover count, with Ben Abbruzzese and Jack McDonald particularly hard at the contest.
