Rob Parker is a name synonymous with the Heathmont Football Netball Club, he has been involved for over 40 years and has served as President, Secretary, Treasurer and even played a few games in his younger years. His vision for the Club has always been one of continual improvement and to see this vision fulfilled must be very satisfying. This does not occur without hard work and dedication and no-one works harder than Rob behind the scenes and on game day when no job is too small.

Rob and Anne Parker apply the same enthusiasm and dedication to their business – FIRST AID MANAGEMENT & TRAINING CENTRE. Buying the relatively small business in 2006, they have developed it exponentially to become a leading provider for first aid training. They deliver courses at 10 venues in the metropolitan area as well as in Gippsland, courses can be delivered onsite at schools, childcare and other workplaces. Their courses provide value for money and a safe learning environment and they sell first aid kits and defibrillators. First Aid Management has employed a number of our Jets people over the years. It is a family business and as such, applies both family and Jets values in the work place with respect and dignity being foremost.
Returning to the Hangar in 2022, Rob feels that our focus will need to be on the re-connection of our young people post COVID and dealing with any issues that may have arisen. Although most people seek first aid training for employment purposes, I would encourage all of our community to consider it, especially young parents. You never know when you may be in a position to render help to someone in need or perhaps save a life. Do you have a first aid kit in your car?
