It’s been a long three weeks without football at the Hangar! With the Easter break and away games, the Hound Scout has been pretty lonely. And unfortunately the welcome back on Saturday wasn’t a warm (or dry!) one. None the less, a few pooches braved the conditions to come down and support both our men’s and women’s teams this weekend. But the Hound of the week had to go to the youngest contender: 10-week old Whippet puppy, Reggie Douglas!
Reggie’s owners are four-time Whippet parents, Grainne and Steve Douglas, aunt and uncle of seniors player, Liam Douglas. True Jets faithful, expect to see Reggie accompany his mum and dad on many Saturday trips down to H.E Parker in the future. He even wears the Jets colours proudly: he is a blue and white boy with stunning golden eyes.
Reggie is very much still a pup and his current favourite thing to do is use your fingers as a chew toy. But when you look into those mesmerising eyes, you just know this boy is going to get away with murder as he grows up! Good luck Grainne and Steve!
