Netball Coaching Announcement
Heathmont Football Netball Club is pleased to announce that Natasha Browne has been appointed as Netball Head Coach for 2020.
Natasha has more than 35 years experience playing at various clubs all across Melbourne, and began coaching netball in 1994 and has had roles at a number clubs including St Catherine’s in Toorak, and most recently coaching and mentoring teams with her daughter’s club Southwood.
With a wealth of experience, Natasha will not only provide excellent direction for the open aged teams, but also assist to implement the pathways program and mentor the other coaches.
In addition to Natasha coming on board, the club is pleased to announce Alkira Mullenger-McHugh will once again take on the playing coach role with the Premier Grade team in 2020. Alkira did a fantastic job in 2019, coaching the team to the finals in the top division for the first time, as well as winning the club best and fairest.
The club is very happy to have Natasha and Alkira on board, both great Heathmont people. Along with the rest of the soon to be announced leadership group, their experience and skill set will be a huge asset to the growing club.
