CLUB STATEMENT: RESIGNATION OF SENIOR MENS FOOTBALL COACH KYLE EMLEY
The Heathmont Jets Football Netball Club is saddened to announce that it has accepted the resignation of our Senior Men’s Football Coach, Kyle Emley, due to personal circumstances that will see him relocate interstate next year. Whilst we are extremely disappointed to be losing both a coach and a person of the outstanding calibre of Kyle, the Club fully understands and supports the reasons behind why he has made this very difficult decision to step away from the role at this time.
The Club wishes to sincerely thank Kyle for the time, effort and commitment he gave to the Club and his role as coach both on and off the field over the past 18 months. We know that Kyle has left an indelible mark on our playing group during his tenure as coach, and that he has forged many strong friendships with players, officials and supporters of our club.
We wish Kyle all the best for the future, and in particular next year as he embarks on a new chapter in his life, but we also look forward to his continued association with our Club in the years to come. As a former Jets Junior player and now as a highly respected and admired former coach of our Club, Kyle will always have a place at our Club and in our hearts.
The Club has already commenced the process of finding and appointing a coach to lead us successfully through next season and beyond. We would like to assure all players, members, sponsors and supporters that we will be seeking to appoint the best possible candidate for this role and we will be exploring all avenues available to us to locate such a person. We are confident that given our talented and exciting playing list, and the fact that the Heathmont FNC now possesses the best facilities (rooms, ground and lights) in not only the EFNL, but quite possibly all of metropolitan Melbourne, that our search will be rewarded with quality candidates applying for what we believe will be a sought-after position. We will continue to update the Jets community as we have further information to provide.
In the meantime, the Club sincerely hopes that all of our players, coaches, officials, committee members, volunteers, members, sponsors and community partners continue to be safe and well during these challenging and uncertain times.
